M'CALL REPORTED OUSTED
FROM N. Y. SERVICE BOARD
Governor's Signaturo Attached to Or
der' of Removal
ALHANY. Dec. G. Governor Whitman
waited until late last night for tho resig
nation of Chairman McCall. of the TuWIo
Service Commission. When It wns not
forthcoming, he n Mixed his signature to
tho decree, discharging tho commissioner
from his ofllcc, It Is stnted on tho author
ity of men In tho Governor's confidence.
At noon today the conlcntB of that decree)
will be rend.
McCnll's dismissal Is directly due to hl
connection with Kings County Electric
Light and Power Company stock. Thero
were more than 10 other charges. Somo
of the other charges offered sufficient
warrant for dropping McCall. Since It did
not become necessary to consider them
In detail. It Is understood tho Governor
passed them over lightly.

There will bo no light on Chairman
