THE STANLEY COMPANY

PHILADELPHIA
EVENING LEDGER,
Philadelphia, Pa.
GENTLEMEN:
The writer has been following
the development of the Photoplay
Department in the Evening
Ledger, and has been very much
gratified to see the strides you
have made both in your treat
ment of news and the advertising
patronage which has followed
your efforts, and in your en
deavors to support us in every
movement for the betterment of
the business.
Your paper in reaching the fol
lowers of photoplay news is
second to none among the news
papers with which I am at all
familiar. I regard it as the right
advertising medium to use for
efficient photoplay publicity in
the Philadelphia field.
With best wishes for continued
success, I am,
Respectfully yours,
STANLEY V. MASTBAUM.

Rich, Forceful Drama
in New Triangle Plays
"THE SABLE LORCHA," with Tully Mar
shall, has in it more of mystery, ingenuity and surprise
than you would find in a thousand other plays. Just sup.
Cose YOU continued to find threatening notes in your
and, and that while you were peacefully sleeping on the
deck of a yacht you woke up in the hold of a Chinese trad,
ing ship.
Then there' vital life interest all through "Matt,,
mony." Every husband and wife in Philadelphia needs
to see this domestic drama with Julia Dean in the title
role.
And for fun, frolic and deep-down laughter two
Keystone comedies. That's all I
