At the race meet that Mr. Joseph E.
Wldcncr will hold on Saturday, October
16, many of the best horses from Boston,
New York and Baltimore will be sent

steeplechase races and three flat races.

themums and palms, by tho Rev. William
M. Jefferis, V. D., an uncle of tho bride,
assisted by the Rev. Charles Dubcll, of
Woodbury.
The bride, who was given In marriage
by her father, wore an exquisite gown of
white duchess satin and sliver brocade,
with a long train, over which the soft
veil of hand-made net, edged with lace,
fell In graceful folds. She carried a
shower bouquet of white orchids.
Miss Marie Jefferis, a sister of the bride,
was maid of honor. She wore a gown of
pink tulle, trimmed with mother-of-pearl
sequins, and carried a shepherdess crook
with pink dahlias.
