for the reading and study ot various

Rlgueur, Is being arranged for by Miss
Emily Carpentor, Miss Jessie Duval will

meet on alternate Thursday evenings at

Another cargo of locomotives and steel
rails for Russia, the third In a month,
will leave here shortly on the Japanese
steamship Senju Maru, which docked at
Pier G, Port Richmond, today. Before
getting her enrgo tbo Benju Maru must
wait the loading ot the British Btcamshlp
St. Veronica, which, Is also taking on
board locomotives and steel rails. The
railway material Is for the Siberian Rail
road, and Is to be delivered at Vladi
vostok. The locomotjves are part of the
contract for 250 reCdntly given to Bald
win's and the rails are being sent out by

The sum of $2800 has been raised by
Philadelphia graduates of the Univer
sity of Michigan for the erection of a
Jl.000.000 building for tho University of
Michigan Union at Ann Arbor. The
union Is the centre of college Interest and
