Extensive plans are being developed by
the members of the Stenton Improvement
Association for their autumn carnival, to
be held on Friday evening, October 1, and
Saturday afternoon and evening, October
2, on Courtland street, from 16th to ISth.
There will be 600 feet of electric lighting
and the booths will be decorated with
flags, bunting and autumn flowers. Spe
cial features of the entertainment will bo
the Dutch kitchen, where supper will bo
served; orange trees and a Kelly slide.
The musical program will Include selec
tions by a band and also a hurdy-gurdy.

Joseph Klrsch, of Itosemont, will become
the bride of Dr. Norman A. Wack, of
Wayne. The bride, who will be given In
marriage by her oldest brother, Mr.
James Klrsch, will wear a lovely gown
of whlto crepe meteor and a tulle veil;
she will carry a shower bouquet of lilies
of the valley and whlto roses.
The maid of honor will be Miss Itose
Klrsch, sister of the bride. Her gown
wilt be pink and whlto taffeta and she
will carry pink roses.
The bride's niece. Miss IMta Klrsch, wilt
act as flower girl. She wilt wear a dainty
whlto frock and carry a basket filled
with pink roses.
Doctor Wack will be attended by his
brother, Mr. John Wack, as best man,
and the ushers will be another brother,
Mr. Daniel A. Wnck. and Mr. Ignatius
Klrsch. Mr. Thomas Klrsch and Mr. Ed
ward Klrsch, orothers of the bride.
Following the ceremony a small recep
tion will bo held at tho home of the bride,
after which Doctor and Mrs. Wack will
leave for their wedding trip, and upon
their return will live on Bellevue avenue,
Wayne, where they will be at home after
November 15.

hat of the same shade, and carried a
