The announcement, in part. Is as fol lows: "The principal owners of the Cambria Steel Company have plans to make that company one of the largest steel produc ers in tho United States. H. C. Frlck la a large owner ot the stock, and ho has obtained an option on the holding of the Pennsylvania Itallroad, by which the controlling Interest in the company iff held. It is the purpose of Mr. Frlck and his associates to combine the Cambria with the Pennsylvania Steel Company, of which, also, a controlling Interest la at present held by the Pennsylvania Hall road. The combination would give theM Cambria an Interest in shipbuilding, as with the Pennsylvania Steel Company would be acquired control of the Jlary land Steel Company, which has a ship building plant at Its works at Sparrow's Point; and It Is understood that it la1 tha intention, when tho merger Is fOfmOd,, to develop the shipbuilding end of the busi ness on a much larger scale than It Is conducted now."
