HONORS PAID TO HEROES OF BATTLE AT REVIEW IN PARIS
General Gallopin is shown kissing one of the soldiers who have just been decorated for gallantry in action. The ceremonies took place at the Place des Invalides, where the tomb of Napoleon
is situated, while all Paris looked on and applauded. The men decorated includo members of all branches of the service. Some of them are wounded.
