Titman Is tho biggest physically. He

practice.

All the remaining second round singles
matches were played off, and several
third round matches, while a start was
made In the doubles.
The feature match In singles was the
contest between Craig Blddle and Row
land Evans, Jr., two Merlon stars. They
were evenly matched tn the first set,
Evans scoring several times on some
beautiful back-hand drives.
Sid Thayer, Merlon's young star, op
posed W. P. Harrlty, of Overbrook, and
outplayed his older opponent in the first
