sharply at the opening of tho grain pit
today, but recoxered the loss later and
went a fraction above the close of yes
terday July also lost at the start, hut
regained aomo of the tots May closed
unchanged, but July was down n cent at
the end of the day
Ornln traders haie assumed a waiting
position owing to uncertainty as to the
disposition of the May wheat crop. Ex
pectations aro that between 400,000 and
600,000 bushels of wheat. 700 000 to 800,000
bushels of corn and 2,000,000 to 4,000,000
bushels of oata will be disposed ot at
tomorrow's market
Dolli cries of wheat during May are
estimated at over t.600,0u0, nil of which
It Is firmly believed will bo sent abroad
The United Kingdom received the en
tire shipment, of wheat from India for the
week Just ending, a total of 03.000 bushels
Vert week's shipment is estimated at
243 COO bushtls. all of which will go to
England
The ilslble wheat In Argentine for the
week Is 8 832,000 bushels, last year at this
pe'lod onlj 1,210,000 bushels were In sight
