Tha association was organized at the time
of the Spanish-American War by Mrs. Francis
Howard Williams, and since that time has been
very active. This winter boxes were packed
and sent to European sufferers, and a dance
was given at the Germantown Cricket Club on
February 2, when nearly 1600 was sent to tha
Philadelphia ward of the American Ambulance
Hospital In Paris.
Invitations for this danco have been limited
and the proceeds will be devoted to general
relief work.
Several dinners will precede the danoet to be
given by Mr. and Mrs. Alexander W. Wlster,
Jr., 121 School lane. Germantown. Their
guests will Include Mr. and Mrs. Daniel II.
