These wonderful motion pictures of the great
European conflict possess apparently irresistible
appeal. The photos of the Kaiser at the front have
proved of especial interest. So, too, have those showing
the big 42-centimetre guns in action.
Then you see the German Army entering Brussels,
engagement of British and German Warships, Bom
bardment of Ghent and hundreds of other thrilling
scenes with the British, Belgian, French and German
forces.
Three Thousand Feet of New Film
Have Just Arrive-

Right from the front, where daring photographers risked their very lives to
secure them, have come these new photos made while battles were raging.
They are pictures of actual fighting; of frightened refugees abandoning their
destroyed homes; of the terrible suffering and sacrifice demanded by the greedy
Spectre of War.
Through the medium of the Evening Ledger, Philadelphia is the first
American city to get a view of these new pictures. More than a mile
and a half of films are now included in this spectacular exhibit the
most vivid pictures of any real war ever taken !
Week of March 22d, at the FORREST THEATRE, Broad and Sansom
Streets. Two performances daily, 2.30 and 8.30 p. m.
Admission 25c and 50c. All seats reserved.
