ward of the Delaware Hospital, an entertain,
meot for which un especially Interesting pro
grrm has been arranged will be given by the
Junior Chapter of the Woman's Auxiliary of
the Delaware Hospital, on Wednesday evening,
April 7. In the New Century Club. The com
mittee in charge of the entertainment com
prises MrB. F. Lindsay Curtis, Mrs. David D.
Ranken, Mrs. AVIUIam C. Nesbltt and Mlas
Emma D. Bush, The features of the program
will be the presentation of a series of lllng
tableaux, the subjects of which are to be
taken from framed paintings by old masters,
and also from Borne of the late Howard Pyle's
works. About 50 young women comprise the
Junior Chapter. The proceeds of the enteitaln
ment will be for the support of the children's
ward.
The comedy, "Cranford," will be presented
by the senior class ot Friends' School at the
annual recaption of the Whtttler Literary So
ciety, Saturday evening, March 27. The play
will be given in the gymnasium, and the re
ception will be given In the Girls' High School
auditorium.
