Jn the larger hall on the second floor under
the direction ot the renewed Interest commit
tee. About ltX members nnd their Indies were
present. Past Grand L. A. Mengel, assistant
grand secretary delivered an address, and
pleasing numbers were given by a quartet of
girls from the Homo for Orphans, several of
whom gavo violin bclectlons and recitations
brothers Gravatl, Ithodes Wolf, Stegeman and
Ashworth sang, as did Miss Thelma Grieves,
daughter of the former degree masts, of the
lodge. Tho feature of the entertainment was
the "Schnltzelbank Chorus," led by Dr. II. J
Kraft. Refreshments were served.

Protection Lodge received a visit from Phila
delphia Lodge at the monthly social last
week. Several witty and sparkling addresses
were made, and recitations were given by
mothers Armstrong, Conrad and by Master
Conrad, whose manly delivery won hearty
applause. Robert Williams and J II. Meyer
