of the reorganization plan. This estab

will bo accepted by tho committee until
Fobiuary 13.
As the day progressed, business contin
ued to contract. Cambria Steel declined
a point on sales of several small lots,
whllo Electric Storage Battery fell a
almllnr amount on tho exchange of "0
shares. Philadelphia Company Scrip of
1913 sold at SO and 1016 at 90. A 12H cents
dividend wan declared by the Tonopah
Belmont Company, and the stock hard
ened fractionally. The rate was reduced
f i om 25 to 12i cents quarterly In January.
In the flnal dealings Itnpld Transit cer

largest check ever drawn for a similar
operation, and tho money will be de

Tho money market hero remains very
Innctlve. Commerclnl paper Is ruling
around I per cent., whllo call money Is
offered at 4 per cent., without finding
any demand. This Is a disappointment to
tho banks, as It had been hoped that the
reduction would enliven the market.
There Is ovnn some talk of a further cut
to S',s per cent., but thero would be very
llttlo In It for the banks at such a low
figure. Tne last time tho rate was as low

figure prevailed until August, when It
