evening will bo the lucky-number dance, for
which two cups will be awarded. The contest

yesterday In St. Clement's Protestant Episcopal

Howard acted as maid of honor to tha bride
and Fullorton L. Waldo was best man.
Tho brldo woro a traveling suit of sand-color
broadcloth and brown hat and carried lilies of

Owing to tho recent death of tho bridegroom'
mother tho wedding was a very quiet affair,

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson loft on a trip through
tho South, and on their return will live at 1U

Mr. Jackson has long been connected with tha
Public LKoann, on which paper ho began his
Journalistic career. Ho Is considered ono of tho
best authorities on ancient customs and famous
old buildings of Philadelphia, and Is the author
of many articles on that subject
