Most of tho trtulltiff won In odd lots, even
such Usually nctlvo Issues as United

wero reported to emanate from Baltimore.
All of tho Pennsylvania group ruled firm.
Including the railroad stock Itself, nnd

was recently dented.
About tho only eliaros to bIvc alrrns of

tinued to appenr for sale In moderate
quantities at the low levels established
nt the close of last week. Nevertheless,
some one appears to be willing to absorb
Ilapld Transit at tho minimum limit of

or not the Ilapld Transit Company will
be able to nvnll Itself of the privilege of
leasing tho new lines when they have
been built by the city will depend greatly
on the attitude of Union Traction stock
holders. When the plnn was first
broached opposition from this quarter was
violent, but subsequently a moro concilia

Interests affiliated wltlj the two companies
have been rather roticent regarding tho

tho voting trustees of the Itnpld Transit
