WORLD STAGE ALL SET FOB CHEERFUL CHRISTMAS EVE AND DAY
POLICE ENTERTAIN YOUNG FRIENDS WITH GIFT-TREE IN STATION HOUSE
Officers and men who have their headquarters at 20th and Berks streets banded together yesterday for the purpose of showing the children of the
neighborhood a good time. Among the organizers of the entertainment were Sergeant Lawrence Johnson, Lieutenant Samuel Little and Patrolman
David Hubbs. "Mutt" Little was also present when the picture was taken and didn't wriggle a hair when the flashlight went off. The insert shows a
commuter hastily buying one last toy before dashing for a train.
TYPE OF CHRISTMAS TREE READY IN MANY HOMES
The lady in the photograph is Mrs. JAUtte Cliff e, of 2211 St Alban'a
street, who, finding that many of the children of her neighborhood
had few prospects for a regular tree, supplied one herself.- She will
distribute, presents to 1600 children of all ages and sizes.
