levied by the Directors, to pay the loss sustained by Henry
Heidelbaugh, of Pequea two., In the horning of his Wash
house, on the night of the 2 Ith of February last; by Elias
H Witmer. of Manor twp., by the burning of his Dry
— Goods and Grocery Storo. ou the night of tho 24th of March
last; and the loss sustained by Jacob B Shuman, of 31aucr
twp., in the burning of his Tenant House, on the night of
the 27th of March lest. Full Duplicates of the said tax
Will be left with Joseph Clarkson, at the Banking House.

Bapho and Penn, may pay their tax ; another partial Du

near the Blue Bell, where persons residing in the townships
of Earl. East Earl, Ephrata, Cternarvon. Breakneck and
Salisbury, may pay their respective quotas of the said tax,
during the period above indicated. Those who do not pay
their tax previous to the tenth of July next, will have
their accounts placed in the hands of proper persons for
collection, with the addition of ten per cent. to pay the
expenses for collection. The Duplicate for the tax assessed
to pay for John Prantz's Barn, which was payable on the
first day of May last, will be left with Joseph Clarkson for
a. few weeks longer, where those who have heretofore
neglected it, may still make payment. Punctual attention
to this notice Is earnestly requested, as the money is greatly
needed to meet the demands of the Treasury. By order of
