We, the undersigned, Auditors of Lanni/sae - 1' County,
do' certify, that we have carefully examined the fore
going account of Benjamin Reinhold, Esq., 'Treasurer of
said county, and compared hie vouchers with tile same,
and End that there is a balance due him on the first day
of January, A. 1). 1860, of Three Thousand Two hundred
and Eighteen dollars and. 51X cents, (90,218 06.)
in too foregoing outstanding taxes, there are sums
due by several townships, showing great negligence on
the part of oollectora, either In collecting the same or
In paying over the money, which is a loss to the county,
as the Commissioners have to resort to temporary loans
on that account.
The liabilities of the county,for loans from individuals
at Bye per cent. per annum, at the present time, are
Eighty-nine thousand Two hundred and Seventy dol
lars, ($80,270 00.)
We have also examined the account of Benjamin
Reinhold, Esq., Treasurer of the Lancaster °Minty Pris
on, and find It correct ; showing a balance due him by
the Prison inspectors of $BO 27 on the first day of Janu
