W. ROB who, during his experience of over a quarter century, during which time he has given a. and 'employed the wonderful powers which h, is the possessor of in this country, having been With this wonderful, most powerful science. can doubt that we are not under the intluen.l - - destiny, and governed by the reciprocal infl of the celestial, terrestrial, and the astrono systems, whose mutual relation to each other disturb, and will it not destroy the unison of a. Do you doubtpredestinationt then why not man gain the celebrity of General Taylor, Webster, or tir Henry Clay? and yet there are who are foolish enough. to doubt that a man m born with the power to see into future events. should not condemn till they have called to seventh son of the seventh son, whose advan from travelling have given him more expel-, than all the other astrologers, male or Tema the United Sates. How can it be possible that the destiny of should be governed by the mere shuffling of a of cards? and yet there are thousands who themselves, with' open Mouths, to swallo greasy words of some old woman, whose true consists in filling them with wonders that are . . for the digestion of others, who credulous, yet More scientific. It is such that bring discredit on ajpro festoon that has been acknowledged to be a science of the highest order, from time immemorial; and it is the only profession that has holy authority to sus tain it. The high respect which General Taylor and the following gentlemen had for Astrology is, shown by his letter for his nativity, of the 10th of February, 1846, to the subscriber, in which he pre dicted all his victories, and named the places ol the late war with Mexico; he also predicted that he would be elected President of the United States, and also foretold that he would notlive but a short limo alter his election, which prediction has bet n filled to the very letter. In addition to his power to foresee future events, he has the power to give such information as; will effectually redeem such as are given to the free use of the bottle. fle is also capable of curing diseases heretofore considered incurable in this country Iry the ordinary medicines, and wishes all to give him a call who have been given up by their physicians and wish to be cured. He will warrant a cure 411 all cases, and will make no charge, except for the conjurations he shall snake use of in his office. He is often asked what a nativity is: lie answers, ac cording to Geoniancy, one of the seven points in the science of Astrology, that it is a Horoscope of the future events of a persons's life, carefully cal culated and transcribed on paper, containing ass account of all the lucky and unlucky days in the' months and years of the person's life for whom it is cast; by which means thousands in this country and elsewhere have been prevented from misfortunes that had been hidden in the womb of futurity, by referring to their Nativity before entering on any speculation of business or pleasure. It.should be in the hands of everrone as their Almanac of A Nativity , of an individual can only forwarn the possessor of troubles that are in future for him; those who are involved in present difficulties of any kind must wait on the subscriber in person or by letter, who is prorated to exert hie influence for their im mediate benefit. Ho is ready to use his influence to torbtell the result of lawsuits, and all undertak ings in which there is a risk involved; he also makes use of his power for the restoration of stolen or loh property, which he has used for the advantage of thousands in this city and elsewhere. . . n- He can be consulted with at his Office, or by letter, if prepaid, and he isprepared to make use of his power on any of the , following topics; busi? noses of all descriptions, travelling by land or sea; courtships; advice given for their successful accom plishment; speculating in stocks, merchandise, or real estate; the recovering of legacies in dispute ;- the purchasing of tickets, and the safety of ships at sea. He also has had the honor of receiving a cer tificate from' the Hon. C. John Bernadotte, formerly King Of Sweden, which it will give him great pleas ure in showing to those who favor hint with a call; he also offers hie services, respecting Health, Wealth, and Marriage, Love Affairs, .Tpurntys, Lawsuits, difficulty in Business, Fraud, Sickness' and Death, Past, Present, and Future Events, and all the concerns of life, and invites all to call who are afflicted, corporally or mentally. Baron Liebtg In his celebrated work on Animal Chemistry, says 'An artilicinl Digestive Fluid, analogous to the Gastric Juice, may be readily prepared from the mucous membrane of the stom ach of the calf, in which curious articles of food, as meat and eggs, will be softened, changed, and digested, just in the same manner as they would be in the human stomach." , the ope any, Itier i S no Dr. Pereira,. in his famous treatise on " Food and Diet," published by Fowler & New York, page 35, states the same great fact, and• describes the method of preparation. There arc few higher authorities ilian Dr. Pereira. - Dr. Combe, in his valuable writings on the '• Physiology of Diggstiou,'• observes that "a dim• notion of the due quantity of the Gastric Juice is a prominent and all-prevailing cause of Dyspepsia;" and lie slates that "a distinguished professor of medicine in London, who . was severely afflicted with this complaint, finding everything else to fail, had recourse to the Gastric Juice, obtained from the stomach of living animals, which proved com pletel.7 snecessfull." Dr. Graham, author of. ilie famous works on "Vegetable Diet," says "liis a remarkable fact in pligsiology, that the stomachs of animals, mace rated in water, impart to this fluid the property of dissolving various articles of food, and of effecting a kind of artificial digtstion of them in nowise different fromthe natural digestive process." AS A DYSPEI.'6IA CURER, Dr. HOUGHTON'S PEPSIN has produced the most inarvellinis effects, in curing cases of Debility, Emaciation,' Nervous Decliac, and Dyspeptic Consumption.
