FLOUR is without much demand for shipment; holders. generally ask $4 25 per bbl ibr standard brands/ and some**4asoo bbls only found buyers, part at that price and part on private terms; for home use the demand is moderate at $4 25 mon retailing braids, S 4 60 a 4 To per bbl for extra. Eye Flour is stationary, with sales of about 300 bbls at $4 37t per bbl. Corn Meal is generally held above the views of buyers, and we hear ol no eales. Grain—No Wheat arriving, and the demand is limited : a sale of 1000 bushels good white at 102 c in store, is the only transaction reported. Rye is scarce at 71c. Corn in request, with more arriv ing and some 10,000 bushels, mostly southern yel low sold at 63c, which is an advance. Oats are waa’ted, and a sale of Penn'a was made at 44c. Whiskey is firm, with farther sales of bbls at 23c; hhds, new, at 22c, and old at 21ic. CATTLE MARKET. —Saturday, June 21. —At market this week, about 2400 head of Beef Cattle, including 1400 driven to New York ; 350 Cows and Calves, 600 Hogs, and 1500 Sheep and Lambs, prices—Beef Cattle are in good demand, and prices steady. Sales at 86,50 to $8,75 per 100 lbs; lat ter prices for first quality. Cows and Oaives —Sales of Fresh Cows at $lB to $35. Springers $l2 to $25, and Dry Cows at $6 to $l4 each. Hogs range from $6,25 to 85,50 per 100 lbs. Sheep and Lambs —Sales of the former at $1,50 to $4,50, and the latter from $1,75 to $3,60 each, according to quality. * Baltimore Market*. Whitehiil & McMinn, in this place, died very suddenly on Monday morning last. Whilst eating his breakfast, he took sick; and a few minutes after taking him from the table, it was discovered that life had fled. His death Was produced by congestion of the brain, as a post mortem examination proved: An inquest was held over the body, by Deputy Coroner Fisher, and a verdict rendered accordingly. The man was an entire stranger. The name of “Robert Steen, Cole rain,” was marked upon his arm with Indian ink. Among the papers found upon his person were a receipt for his fare from Pittsburg to Philadelphia, and two due bills, one dated New Orleans, for $l2, 00, and the other Pittsburg, for $lO,OO. —Columbia Spy. Harvest. —The Frederick Examiner says:— ‘ Our harvest has fairly set in.
