Te give greater profit the ether must be a Jewer-cost powder, and te cost less it must be made with alum or cheaper and inferior materials. Because the "Royal" uses mere highly refined and expensive materials it costs mere te manufacture than any ether baking powder, but it is correspond ingly purer and higher in leavening strength, and accordingly of greater money value te consumers, although the retail price te them is generally the same. Consumers are entitled te full value for their money, and therefore will net, if wise, accept any substitute for the " Royal." Unfortunately, net only are many of these would-be substitute powders made from inferior and unwholesome materials, but they arc placed before the public with advertisements intended te mislead as te their true character. A powder advertised by its manufacturers te have printed upon its label all the ingredients used in it, proves upon analysis te have in its composition four substances net named upon its label, two of which are lime and sulphuric acid. Most of the alum powders are fraudulently sold-as pure cream of tartar goods. The danger incurred, should such powders be substituted for the "Royal," will be apparent te every consumer. drill u hiiii rroviitleim Furnished by H. K. Yundt, Kreker.
