attendance. There was no contest Ter any

positions thore was a geed-natured rivalry.
The polls wcre opened at 8:.TI and closed
at 9 o'clock, by which tlme US votes bad
been cast Edward It. Garvin, Jacob II.

tion officers.
James Jl. Best was elected second vlce
president by a majority of three. Fer the
eighth member of the oxecutlve cemmitter
there was a tie veto between Adam J.
Rleker and Charles Zerhcr, and this posi
tion will be contested for at the next meet
ing of the society.
