Alex E. McManua, a son of Owen Me
Manaa, was killed last night en the Seuth
Ambey division of the P. R. K. In the
oath Ambey yards. He was a conductor
w that read. Ne particulars have been re
ceived In town. McManus was fermerly a
resident of town, but has been away for
the past five yeara. His parents reside
here. Mr. McManua left for Seuth Ambey
this morning. The deceased was married
te a daughter of James McCalls, of
WrlghtsvlUe, and besides a widow, he
leaves two children. He was 29 years old.

afternoon at the home of Miss Alice Welsh,

Daath of Rebert Nlohel.
Rebert Nichel died this morning at the
residence of hi son-in-law, David Itoeso, at
the corner of Church and Shlppen streets.,
Mr. Nichel had been In ill health for seme

Heard for Receiving Stelen Meeds.
Jehn and Frank Faegley wero heard by
Alderman Halbach this afternoon for re
ceiving stolen goods. The commonwealth
claimed that at the time the goods stelen
from Kltch it Smith wero purchased by
the defendants they knew that they were
stolen. The alderman returned Jehn
Faegley te court and dlfiml&siKl the case
again at his son Frank.
