Heward gang were badly demoralized by

President N. J. Ged man denounced the
way the rarmers are used by the present
administration and the protective policy,
and said that the only way te protect their
interests was te adept tariff reform. lie
assailed elevator combines, peels, commis

farmers, and said that' as between these
factions the farmer was crashed.
