at llie bridge of the Ponnsylvenla railroad
at Ceatcsvllle, this forenoon. Kelmrt Hlg
gins, a young man but 18 years bf age, re
siding In the no.jhbnrhned, was walking
across the bridgn te his work In
the rolling mill. He did net
s-e Harrhbtirg Express approaching from
the west and the engineer was unable te
step In time te save him. The pilot struck
the young man a terrible blew and hn feH
from the bridge te the tracks of the Wil
mington it Northern railroad IS) feet
below. He was Instantly killed and
Ids limbs wero terribly crushed. On
the train wcre a large number of
Laucaster folks, sonie of whom saw the
torrlble accident occur. The first Informa
