About 11 o'clock, however, Chief et
Police Mablon Snaaberand Sergeant Henry
Mans, with 18 men, drew a oerdoa about
the place, and, with the assistance of com
pany A, Fourth regiment of the Pennsyl
vania National Uaerd, under oemmand of
Captain Harry Ohrlsteff, cleared the enclo
sure of ell exeept these at work, about 160

Business was almost suipanded during

girl named Pennypacker called at J. Hen
ainger's morgue, te which tbe body was
taken, and asked tbat the right abee be
taken et! for the reason tbat Mtsa Faust,
through an accident bad been compelled te
walk en the lnuer side. The defect waa
found and tbe identification waa made com
plete by a ring en the third finger of the
left band and a kerchief about tbe neck.

doctor waa at once sent for, but betere he
arrived she died.

railroad oempsny was a smoking pile of
black by daylight en Thuraday. Charred
Umber and twisted iron were tbrewn about
tm contusion. The butlJleg waa one one

ares. Five empleyes were killed and five
seriously lnjured.

moved during the night. Tbe body of
Willie Geetmsn was unearthed at 0 o'elook.
Just at midnight the body et Charles Mo Me Mo
Keeu was found under a masset ruins In
tbe rear part el Welding's store. He waa
terribly mangled and waa 82 years old aad
single. Shortly alter 2 o'elook this morn
ing two mere bodies of workmen were
found In theoellsrel WUIey's building.
They were In a sitting posture, beside
stove, se bsdly msngled and disfigured that
they have net yet been Identified.
Just ss the city clerk tolled the hear of
six this morning workmen found and oar ear
out from the rear el Weldlng'a cellar the
body el Or. J. C. Raid. Dr. Beld was ever
80 yeers el eve and waa widely known.

list of missing. It Is thought that a greater
portion of these will be transferred te the
death roll.

The body et Albert Williams, the young
man who waa killed In the terrible acci
dent at Bunbury, was brought te Lancaster
tbls morning. It arrived here at 0:10 and
ws in charge et William Chapman, Ell
Brenner and Elmer Herzeg. The widow
el the deceased accompanied the body,
whleh waa taken te the home et her father,
Bamuel Jenes, at Ne. 421 North Cherry
street, from whlcb beuse the luneral will
take place en Sunday afternoon. The
men who brought tbe body here are
all residents el Lancaster who went
te Bunbury te work some time ego,
Frem them mere waa learned concern
ing the aoeldenk It seems tbat Wllllama
received teirlb'.e Injuries, although the
papers et Thursday morning did net ae
state. Tbe man'a Jsw wss broken In two
places, bis right leg was crushed, his left
leg broken and he was hurt Internally.
Beaaley bad both handa and his legs cut,
and he Is hurt about the breast. The men
think be will recover. When found, after
the accident, Beasley and Williams were
lying together. Chapman, Brenner and
Herzeg toad Just left them a law minutes
before tbe accident. Wllllama waa
going for his coat and preparing te leave
the building when he waa atrleken down.
Herzeg had Juat gene out of the building
for a shovel, or he might have been killed.

proposed monument te be erected en their
church ground.
Hewell & Gruger, et this city, have the
contract for the monument, and they were
notified by telegraph en Thursdsy te sus
pend work en tbe ssme until they received
further Instructions, Tbe Impression of tha
vestry el Trinity Is that tbe monument will
new be. placed en the capltel grounds at
Harrlaburg.
Measra. Hewell A Gruger reeelved a letter
from Harrlaburg thta morning, telling them
tbat tbe work en the monument was
ordered te be stepped en account et the
action et the church vestry. -
The aet of assembly, passed June 3, 1887,
appropriating 81,000 ler the expenses et the
monument, epeoifleally states that It shall
be placed ever the grave of Gov. Mlfllln. If
tbe vestry will net allow the monument to te
be placed there, the act will hsve te be
repealed, and another passed before It can
be erected at any ether pleee.
Tbe commission who have direction of
the menument are tbe governor el the
atate, secretary of the oemmonwoalth sad

band, Louden McCormack, the actor,

Benjamin Derwart, age 18 years, resid
ing at Ne 431 West Orange street, was
arrested en Thuraday afternoon by Special
Ollleer Ebrman for larceny. Derwart,
who was In company with two ether young

street. The clerk was notified that they
had stolen some glasaware and when he
walked te tha outside of tbe store these
young men ran away. They were followed
