Salem Lutheran church. A wife and
even children, the eldest 10 year, survive.
The funeral will be held en Friday afler

Church.
Toe wife of Cyrus Shnltz died this
morning at her home in Washington ber-
eugb, aged CI years, Heath resulted from
typhoid fever Biter an illness of nine
WeekB. A huiband and seven children sur
vive, alt et whom are oenllnod te their
beds by sickness ezceptlng ene son, who
does net live at home. The funeral ar
rangements have net been made.
Women Leave thrlr Husbands.
Yeaterday afternoon two young married
women from Lancaster, named Ulpelund
Krelder, came te town with tbe evident
purpose et leaving thelr husbands. 'Xhe
men telegraphed te Ooergo Jehnsen, por
ter at the Tremont house, te koep a watch
for the women. Through his ellerts their
trunk was held at the station, but the
women went te Yerk. At a later hour the
husbands came te town and met their wives
Upen the arrival of "the :'. train ttili
morning. Quite a soene took plaoe
between the men and women when they
met, and theyslapped eaeh ethers' faoes
quite vigorously. They went te Lancaster
at 825 this morning.

Hutchinson for drunkenness and disorderly

ten days.
The mill et the Columbia Iren company
will start work this evening af ter two weeks'
idleness, The eapactty of the mill has been
lndreaaed from 5,000 te 12,000 tens by tbe
addition et eight deuble puddling furnaces
and a bar mill. About fifty mero work men
will be given employment. Tbe mill has
been very successful under tbe manage.

There was a burglary at tbe North I'ole
Bileen, en North Queen street, kept by
Philip Dasslnger, last night. The thleves
opened the iron grate In tbe front et the
house and made their wey Inte the cellar,
from which they stele an eighth and a Bixth
beg cf beer. They managed te get the
eighth keg out through lbs grate, but the
opening was tee small for tbe ether. Tbe
grate runs into tbe pavement, from which
the thieves were obliged e tear out a num
ber uf bricks. Mr. Haiuilnger closed his
beuse at 11 o'clock, and the theft was
committed after that
Charles Lee's Shew In Town.
The last tent show that In all likelihood
will Visit Lanoaster this year la that of
Charles Lse, which Is new at McQraun's
park and will remain for three days. It
