et the Iroquois fishing club held a meeting
last evemeg at Jehn Bruder'a Tremont
hetel, ou North Qaeen street, when a perma
nent musical organization te be known aa
the "Iroquois Cornet Band" was formed.
Tbe band will consist of twenty membera
and will boeonduoted by Herman Neumyer,
Ieta et the Slate Capital band of
Barrlsburg, who Is well known te
our citizens as an eaeellent muslelan.
Mr. Neumyer will remove te thla
elty te take charge of tha band, Harry
Strleker will be the leader and the oOleera
elected are aa follewa: President, O. C,
Dennelly ; vlee president, Philip Haun ;
aoeretary, Fred. Haas; treasurer, Jehn
Brnder; trustees, Michael Kuhlman, H.
Kltehle and Jehn Dougherty. The band
Includes several membera of the old City
band and has the material te make first first

and will recolve their new uniforms in the
