A strawberry festival will be held In the
armory en Thursday, Friday and Satur
day evenings of next week ter the benefit

Columbia rolling mill.

ing around for about eight hours. This wan

While Staking Up Bit Train.
HAiuusnune, May 21 Daniel Utoker,
s baggage-master en the accommodation
train between Lancaster and Harrisburg,
was killed In the Pennsylvania ratlretd
company's yards this morning. Ulckey
waaengsgedtn making up his train when
he was knocked down by tbe cars coming
together and Instantly killed. About
twenty cars passed ever his body berere roe
train could be stepped. Deceased was s
resident of Lancaster and was employed
en the railroad for sotne years. Tbe re
mains, which were horribly mangled, were
removed te the undertaker's, where they
were prepared for hartal. Tbe coroner
will held an Inquest this afternoon.

year and a-balf he made his home at the
Rebrer house. He left Lancaster this

ing unwell. The announcement of hli
death was a great surprise te his friends.
