Deaths or Twe Women.
Mff. Mary Elsenberger, aged 60, wlfe of
Abram Klsenberger, died this morning at
her home, Ne. 119 Seuth Frent atreet She
baa been alck alnce last July with dropsy
which earned her death. Bae was born at
Obcatant Hill, and baa been living In town
let the pan twelve years. A UuBband and
MX children, three eons and three daugh
ter, sutvlve. The funeral will be held en
Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mr. W. H. Breeke, a daughter of W
Branlly Bnpplee, of town, died In May
town en Monday, aged 20 years. The fu
neral will be held en Thursday morning at
10 o'clock, in the Maytown l.utiieran
ehnrch. Interment at the cemetery at that
place.
A Blight Fire.
The reef of a frame house at l'erry street
and the Pennsylvania railroad waa en tire
thta morning. The fire was conquered by
the crew of shifting engine Ne. 039. Very
little damage waa done.
James Leney and Stephen Frlsby, cel-
end men, were standing in Pleasant alley
yesterday afternoon, when Jehn Selblelst

The thieves effected an extrance by forcing
up the sash of the window. Frem the
frame building-, whleh was used as a retail
room, they octered the distillery, but did
set disturb anything tbore, nor In the
bended warehouse. They made their exit
.through the engine room, uulecklug the

exerciser, was held en Tuesday evening at
Alderman Ban's office.
Ksv. Dr. Mltehell, who hed premised te
deliver the sermon te the Grand Army en
Sunday, appeared before the committee
and stated tast at the time he premised te
deliver the eermen ha had overlooked the
Presbyterian centennial Jubilee In Phila
delphia en that day, and be waa obliged te
attend these exercises. lie eald his church
was at the disposal of tbe Grand Army en
that evening, and he had secured Bev. D.

arrangoment was declared satisfactory te
tbe committee, and the memorial sermon
will be preached at the 1'reabyterlan church
en Sunday evening.
The graves In all the cemeteries wilt be
decorated en Wednesday morning by de
sils from the local pest. Flsgs will be
placed en soldiers' graves en Saturday, and
relatives of soldiers are requested te visit
the cemeteries en Sunday and report te the
sextons soldiera' graves en which flsgs are
net placed, se that all may be decorated.
Pest 405 will held special services at tbe
soldiers let in Lancaster cemetery. Pest

same premises. Censtable MoFadden, of
Oxford, investigated the case, and from In
formation he aecured, made complaint
against Jehn D. Uarper. The accused en
