the lather of forty-one children, and a

waa one of Reading's characters, and was
in the full vigor et health when be was
killed. It U doubtful il bis record In tbe
paternal Una waa ever equalled. Hellner
waa a dwarfed hunchback. He was born In
Berlin In 1810, and came te tula country in
1M3, settling la Heading. Until his death
he made a living by collecting and selling

years of sge. He was a stone raann by
trade and bad net been In Lancaster for
many years. During the war he was a sol
dier. He was buried en Tuesday.
