A meeting of tbe city members of the Lan
caster County Pharmaceutical association
waa held yesterday afternoon, when matters

the license law recently pissed by the state
letgislature, relating te drug business, was
brought ferwsrd for tbe Information and con
sideration et tbe member. After some dis
cussion of the status el tbe trade lu pro
prietary remedies In the city, it was decided
te make a reduction In the retail price et

The colored hed carriers id this city held a

large attendance of the colored belles and

bail expected that some of I'ze politicians

folks were disappointed.
Ladles' Aid Saclaly Orgenlird.
The lady members of tbe Presbyterian
Memerial church met last evening and
organized a Ladles' Aid society for tbe purpose
et obtaining means te ktep the church
property In repair and also te assist In defray
ing tbe general expenses of the church. The
society has lerty members and it is hoped
