The structure te be built In the shape et a T, with all the cells radiating from the centre. Under thla plan the prison can be enlarged at any time with but little expense. Tne windows of the cells te be net ever live Inches wide te prevent escape and te be placed en the top of the cell ; tbe cells te be eight by eighteen feet, In order te give the convicts room ter work, and the location and plumbing should be such that there would be an abundance et llush water. They also want a part of the prison for woman cocvleta and te have it se arranged that the men can net bnre access te that part of the prison, and a bath roeji In each corridor. The outer walls are te be tnlrty feet high and of sum. cient thickness, with coping stone facing out wards and the partition walls the thickness ottwe bricks, with steel plates between them. The kitchen, they say, should be built in the yard. The commissioners took the visitors te the county farm and tbey looked at both of the sites, one en this and ene en the ether side of the creek, which have been suggested ler tbe new prison. After examining both they said they had no choice, as eltbet of the locations was equally geed for drainage.
