day about neon. Hew the accident happened

rival the woman waa dead. The doctor
telephoned te Corener Henaman and that

This afternoon Officer Barnheld arrested

tified as the property of F. J. Stein,
nauser. The ether bag contained a let of
oepper pipe, which leeks aa If It had been cut
with a chisel from a brewery or some like

and Bees were committed by Alderman

The Adams Express company has extended
Its aervlee ever the entire system of the
Ohie & Mlsalaslppl railway, amounting te
upwards of 600 miles of line, en which there

another announcement relative te the pro
posed reduction of fares en its street railways.
The reduction of five cants, it Is announced,
will go Inte effect en March 7, instead of April
1, as previously announced, and thealngle
fare will entitle pasaengera te free traeafer at
all Junctions, instead of being obliged te pay
an additional two cents for such transfer, aa
