Benjamin Cehlc, An old and well-known
empleye of tbe Pennsylvania railroad com
pany, died this morning at 3:15 o'clock, at his
home In Concord lane, In the 53d year of his
age. The cause of the death was heart dis
ease and dropsy, and he had been sick ler
neveral months. Mr. Cebie was a lermer
resident of meuntvllle, where his parents
re still living. He was In the employ of the
railroad company for the past thirty years.
The arrangements ler the funeral have net
yet been made.
Mrs. Jehn Watsen, living en Cherrv street
above Third, died at her home en Sunday
morning alter a brier Illness. A husband
and Miree children are left te mourn their
less. The funeral will take place en Wed
nesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Tillage of LandUvllle, en Saturday, of liver
complaint, aged 72 yearn. In his time
he was ene of the most progressive and
auccestlul farmer In that section of the
county. His was married three time. Ills
first wife was Miss l'rantz, of Blrdln-Hand
the second, Mra. Brubaker, of Drumore, and
tbe third Miss Florey, of Yerk county, who
survives him. Heleave eleven children, a
fellows : Abraham, a farmornear Petersburg;
Benjamin P., farmer near Landlsvllle.
Aaren, Adam and Simen, who are Interested
In the plow werksat Mount Jey ; Israel, who
resides In Landlsvllle, and the wife of M.
O. Musser, of Landlsvllle. The funeral

paralysis, the result of a stroke en Saturday.
The deceased was conscious up te the time
of his death. He had never been alck befere
