townships cannot be published until next

The estimate of population of a city Is five
persona te each voter. This registration
would indicate a population of 37,725,
which 1 at least 7,000 mero than n census
would show.
Arretted Fer Robbery.
William C, Miller was arrested this morn
ing by Olucer GUI, charged with robbery
en a complaint made belere Alderman A.
F.Dennelly. The complaint charges that
Miller stele a watch from the person of E
L. Wagner, of Harrlsburg, en Thursday
night. The case was put in charge et Chief
Smith, and he traced tbe watch te Miller.
When Miller learned this he gave the watch
te JehnScbaum, of the City hotel, te band te
Mr, Wagner, and told Mr. Scbaum net tn
tell the chief that he cave him the watch.

Accident le Prof. Hall.
About half-past ten o'clock this morning as
Prof. Wm. B, Hall was crossing North Queen
ctreet between the niester house and tbe
Rohrer house he was struck en the right
aide of the neck by the shaft of a country
wagon that was passing. There were aeveral
wagons passing at the time, and Mr. Hall in
endeavoring te avoid some of the ethers, did
net ee the approach of the wagon that struck
