Mr. Schauta was a son or Philip Schauta,
w he in his day was a w oil known tinsmith,
and has been dead about twenty years.

with Jehu Carr, who carried en the business

ness for himself in 1S59, and romalned
iu it until about a year and a half age. Dur
ing his lirotlme Mr. Scbauin erected several

latter building is new occupied by W. A.

ceased leaves a wife, who is a daughter of
