Finger Cut OIT.
Lewis C. Smith, an extra brakeman en the
Columbia it Pert Deposit railroad, met with
an accident last night at Pert Deposit, ro re
aultingln the less of the middle linger ethU
right hand. The brakeman was engaged In
coupling cars and bad bin hand caught be
tween the dead weed or two airs with tlie
above result. The injury recei red medical
attention.
' Fell Down a Flight of glairs.
On Mondayafternoon, tbe wife of Leenard
Hrnltb, living en Perry street, had occasion
te go down a flight of stairs Inte the cellar
when she made a misstep and fell the entire
length te the bottom. She was considerably
bruised by the fall and medical attention
given. The accident reulted in sovcre
bruises te tbe right arm and the left side of
the face Is badly cut.
A Sunday ltebbery.
On last Sunday morning tbleves entered
the house of Isaac-Sheuk, a farmer living in
Maner township, while the family was seated
en the front perch. The entrance was made
through a rear deer and tbe robbers stele a
J20 geld piece and about ?5 in small money
trem a bureau drawer up stairs. A bundle
of clothing had been prepared for removal
but the articles were net steien. Ne clue is
had te the thieves.
