Favorable CMUclm.
Last evening the Watte company appeared
In the opera house ter the second time. The
play was 'Ingemar, or The Man el the
Wilderness," and the audience was smaller
than en tbe first night The cause or this
la that the play Is one that very seldom
draws many people en the gallery. The
piece has been seen here seventl
times, and once In the hands of
"7 Andersen and company. It Is
unfair, however, te compare the present com cem
pany with that organization. The play is a
difficult one, but the ambitious attempt en
the part or the company evoked much
favorable criticism. Mias Neilson played
the part el -TttrtAenia In a creditable manner,
and James R. Walte was a capable Ingemar.
