Death of Mealdsr.
Jeseph B. Stevens, who was en a visit te
Itarrisbnrg, died there en Thursday. De
ceased was a well-known stove" meulder,

brothers and four sisters, two of whom

visited by burglars last night who broke into

Annual Reunion of Maryland and Pennsyl

Yesterday the eighth annual picnic of the
Pennsylvania and Maryland Union Medical
association was held at Yerk Furnace, en
the Susquehanna. Thore were ever one hun
dred doctors present from Yerk, Lancaster,
Dauphin, Chester, Delaware, Cecil and Har
ford con ntles and Philadelphia.
The meeting was called te order In the
forenoon by Dr. W. 8, Reland, of Yerk, who
, la preslden t of the association.
He read his annual address, the subject
being " The Secial Relations of the Profes Prefes Profes
seon.7' A nominating, committee was appointed
