eeidliiK te my hclief there will be boime caes of
cholera hcie within the next few weeks, and
then the extent of Its spread und devastation
will depend entltcly upon our icadlnchs te har
bor or Biippiukg It. If eveijthliin about our
pieinised Is In peifect simitar) elder, nnd every
suspicious spot Is disinfected nnd kept dlsln
leeted there need be no nicat alarm; but truu
dlslnfectiintrtuie net ued auythlnir llke as uni
versally as they should be, considering them eat
danger te which we ure any day liable.
Yeu sny true dlslnlectuiits ; may we ask le
what you refer?
" Ceitalnly, nnd I um Kind you usked thu ques
tion, for many people yet don't knew what te
rely upon, and it's vv long that they should wiute
money en worthless pivparatleue.
"My peisenul expci lence with disinfectants
has been constant, and I ant fiee te admit that
for the dcstiuctlen of dlseaso-preducinginatter,
for purifying our waste-pipes, water-closets,
cesspools and vaults, lu tuct, for all domestic
disinfectien, nothing yet has proven se useful
or reliable as I'latt'i. Chlorides. This article wu
physicians huve used and recommended for
join's, and 1 inn glad new te see It advertised,
for upon Its liberal and univeisal use I lmsu my
hopes that the terrible cholera may be kept
nwuy."
The disinfectant can easily be procured ut any
drug store, and whlle it is entirely odeilcss, jet
It Is very pe ei fill, and Is sold nt a very icusen
uble price.
One thing I would add: "I always warn my
patients te be sure and get Piatt's Chleiides, for
sometimes dealers will attempt te sell ether
prcpnrul Ions, w hlch although w ei thlcss j et inBy
alfeul them a few cents mere piellt." Htoeklyn
