that when he heard his sister's screams for

The I'fautz residence 111 Warwick township
was visited by liundredsef persons from the
surrounding country, yesterday, mid thesole
topic et conversation was the terrible tragedy
of Tuesday afternoon.

en Mis. Pfaulz and her two children. He

hearing the testimony of the elder children,
the jury rendeied a verdict that Christian and
Lfiie I'fautz came te their deaths by drown
ing by being thrown into the water by their
mother. who was touierarily deranged at the
time. As te .Mrs. Plant, their veidlct was
that she committed suicide by diewniug
while laboring under tciusnary aberration
of mind.
The funeral took place at 1 p. in , Men Men Men

Kliz-ibeth Detwiler, aged W jears, 2
mouths and l.r days, died at the residence el'
W. C. Ilershey, Lewer K.iphe, who was mar
ried te her niece. Mrs. Detwiler was the
wilb of Christian Detwiler, or West Heni
lield tow nship, who died theie many yeara
age. Her maiden iianie was Latidis and she
originally came fiein Chester county. The
deceased has relatives living in Chester
county, Illinois, Iowa, and New Orleans.
She has two sons living in Colerado. She
will be buried from the lesidence ol'her son,
Minim Detwiler, Ireuville, en Sunday
morning next.
