MAniETTA, May 12. At 4 o'clock, Monday
afternoon, as Columbia local engine CCO, was
drawing sonic cars out ofthe Marietta station
siding, Charles Rolsluger jumped upon an
empty coal car. While still standing upon
the step he was struck upon the shoulder by
the stock tramway and thrown under the
cars. The train passed directly ever hlshcad,
completely Boverlng It from his body and
throwing his skull ever Inte the stock yards.
The doceased was eighteen yoarsef age and
was the son of Isaae Rolslnger, Jr., proprietor
of the Steamboat house, Marietta.

Mr. JelinS. Mann, the great Maner town
ship farmer, visited the farms or Mr. B. J.
McGrann, near this city, en Monday, and
among the many objects of interest which he
