TJsula Neff died suddenly at the county
j hospital between 12 nnd 1 o'clock tlii morn-
' ing. Shortly before midnight Oftlccr

King and Water streets, very weak from a
hemorrhage of the lungs. He had liim con
veyed te the station heuse in a carriage and
Dr. Reland was summoned. The doctor ad
vised his removal te the county hospital, and
he was convevod te that institution. On his
nrrlval tbore Kofi" asked for a glass of v atcr ;
it was given te hlm.nud in iv few minutes
nfterwnrds he died. if eff was only IB years
old and bns been staying in this city 'for the
pastyear. He had no liemc, provided his
-meals by begging nnd slept wherever be
could secure nccommedntioiis. He was nn
occasional inmate of the station houe, as n
loilger. Cerenor Ilennman w as notified of
.his death, he ompanelled n Jury nnd held an
inquest this morning.
The coroner's Jury this afternoon rendered
a verdict of death from hcmoribnge.
An Old Lady Robbed.
Last evenlng about 5 o'clock, nn old lady
who gave lier roaidencc as Manhcim, went te
the Pennsylvania depot, in this city, and
purchased a ticket for Ulizabcthtewn. fche
was told that she could net lcave until 730,
whereupon she started for the depet restaur
ant te get something te cat.
Day express was standing in tlie depot at
the time, and ns the old lady walked nleng,
ene man of two who said they would show
her where the restaurant was, jerked her
rocket book from her hand. He escaped, and
his partner, after picking- up u few pieces of
sliver' which foil from the old lady's hand,

Deputy Coreaor Geed, of Conestog.i tewn-shl-",
held an inquest yesterday en the infaut
child of Mary Brady. The child died thirty
six hours after birth and was buried a few
hours afterwards. Tliere were rumors of
foul-play in the neighborhood, and the
deputy corenor was requested te held au in

mortem examination made by Docter
Winner and Cllnger. The doctors tostltied
that death resulted from congestion et the
