Governer Cleveland, General Farua Farua
wertb, of the governor's stall, and Cel
Liraent arrived in the Grand Central
depot, New Yerk, from Albany Saturday
Afternoon. The governor was met by a
delegation from the national and state
Democratic committees and a committee
of gentlemen representing the business
interests of the city. The governor was
warmly greeted by each member of the
different committees, and he was then
driven te the Heffman house.
The final parade of the political cam
paign was the greatest that New Yerk
city has known in many years. It was
distisetively a demonstration by business
of a'l trades and vocations. Actual figures
cinne; be given, but it is a modest cs'i cs'i
mate that ever 00,000 people marched up
Broadway Saturday afternoon.
Every Democratic club and orgaalziUen
in New Yerk 1 allied under their rtspec
tiy bandere, which were all inscribed
"Clevtlind and Hendricks."
The column of the parade was divided
into two divisions, the headquarters of ene
being in the immediate vicinity of the
produce exchange and the ether
bolrgatthe corner of Werth streetand
Broadway. The line of mareh was up
Broadway te Thirteenth street, te Fifth
avenue and past the reviewing stand at
Madisen Square Many business and
private houses along the line of the pro pre pro
rrtslen were profusely decorated with
bunting nud portraits of the Democratic
candidates for the presidency and viee
ptosidenoy weic displayed en every block.

uumore'Fs ercusstra nautue right el way.
The? turned out nearly 5,000 strong and
p-ejoated a remarkably flne appearance.
They were followed by the dry goods
central division of the who essle clothing
and dry reads clubs. The carpet trade
and wholesale cloak manufactures,
flower and lfathcr trade, and membeis of
1 no stecic bxcuan 0 marched next.
The second division of the monster nre

house brokers, shoe mid leather trade,
printers and publishers' club, the paper
trade, the Columbia college club, the jew

an inspiring feature of exhibition.
Armng the mottoes displayed upon the
gorgeous till; banners were the following :
"Protection te labor destruction te me
