WnnKLiNa, W. V., Oot. 15. The
count of Tuesday's vote in Wheeling Is
still nnoempleted. Estimates of tbe
Domeoratlo majority in Ohie oeunty. in
eludlnd Wheeling, vary from two hundred
te nine hundred. Returns from the cenn,
tics counties te indicate heavy
Democratic calns. In Marshall oeunty the
Deraoetats etalm that Maxwell'a majority
will net exceed 650, a Democratic gain
of ever 100. In Harrison oeunty,
the home of Maxwell, Republican
eandidate ler governor, Jand Oeff,
Republican congressman, both sides een.
oede that the vote is very oleso, with
tbe balanoe of probabilities in favor of the
Democrats. If the Democrats carry the
oeunty by a malerlty of one they will have
made a gain of 700 votes. In Wetzel
oeunty the Demoerats elalm a majority of
BOO, a gain of 00. In Weed oeunty, whieh
includes the elty or l'arkersburg, the ue
pnbllcan majority has been reduced te
200, a gain for the Demoerats of
ever 600 votes. At Falrmennt, Ma Ma
reon county, at 12 o'elook te day, only
237 vetes had been counted of the 603
polled. These counted gave Maxwell for
Governer 100, and Wilsen 87. Pleasant
oeunty gives Wilsen 708, Maxwell 605.
Hancock oeunty shows a Repnbllean gain
of 60. Preston county gives a Republican
majority of 1,400, a Republican gain of
200. At Piedmont the vote steed Wilsen
220, Maxwell 100; at Cameren, Wilsen 112,
Maxwell 07. Breeke oeunty gives Wilsen
04 majority, a gain of 00 ever the Ropubli-ean-Qreonbaok
vete of 1880.
In tbe First coDgrcssienal or Pan Handle
district, new represented by Uoff,Repub!l.
ean, the Demoerats are claiming from 700
te 1.000 majority.
Midnight. It is imposslble te form a
dellnite estimate of the Demoeratio ma
jority in this state. Returns come in
slew, and there is yet nothing te change
the estimate given last night. Wilsen for
governor will have from 7,000 te 10,000
majority. The Legislature will be four
fifths Demoeratio en joint ballet, and tbe
whole tlekct is elected by majorities vary
ing greatly from Wilsen's.
The oeunt in this oeunty (Ohie) is net
yet completed. Wilsen carries it by about
300, and the entire county tlekct is elected
from sheriff te constables, The Demoerats
have seven out of ten county commission
ers, and will control the organisatien,
whleh is regarded as important.
The proposed subscription by this
oeunty of $15,000 te the Cosheoton, Mt.
Vernen & Wheeling railroad has a
majority, but whether the requisite three
fifths cannot be told till theoUielal returns
are in. The constitutional amendment
changing the state eloetion from Oateber
te Nevember was adopted in tbe slate at
large.
THE OHIO MAJORITY OOUtNO DOWN.
Columbus, O., Oot. 10. Unofficial re
