Fer several days Mr. Themas M. Jaek Jaok Jaek

has imagined that he oeuld detect a hand

Mr. Will MoDenald, a saloon keeper across
the street. Fer 14 years he had lived iu
bliss with his wife, and Ave interestine
children Ud been born te them, lie tried
te repress the suspicion, bat it continued

wife thit he was going north en the even

daylight, and, arming himself with a
shetRun and revelver, he awalted develop

sent across the street by the woman.
Mr, Wlltle Me Denald:

the guilty pair wero ou the inside, while
the avenger was peeping through the

of buckshot told the couple that the

scream MeDjnald jumpd out of bed and
wildly discharged his pistol iu the direction
of the window. Ha attempted te escape,
but found the windows barred and tbe

parting shot. As a wblte lljuru emerged
Jaoksen blazed away, when his wife, whom

his flight, whoa Jaoksen aiuged In in again
with a murderous volley. By this tlme half
a dezan policeman gathered, besides fully
