ful Russian. She was a most charming
woman, with soft, mysterious eyes, a pale,
delicate laee, and a slew, dreamy smile
that set the two warriors wild. All the
garrison knew of their fierce rivalry, se
marveled net a little when their old friend
ship appeared te be restored, and the two
