A Crematory fur Mew Yeru.
The New Yerk Oromatery cempauy,
limited, lias bought fourteen lets, about
ene and u charter acres, in East Williams,
burg, Leng Island, upon which It will

will be of the Groeiau style of architecture
aud will cost about $50,000. It will con
tain the incinerating furnace, a chapel for
religious coremonlos and a columbarium,
or memorial hall for the recoptleu of the
urns containing the ashes of the bodles
inomeratcd. Plans are new belug pio pie
parcd and work will begin in about two
wceks. The crematery can be roaehod In
thirty minutes from the principal ferries
and will stand ou uu oleviitlon that ever
leeks the harbor, New Yerk and Brook
lyn. The grounds will he tnade as attrac
tive as (lowers and shrubs can make thorn,
and thcre will be nothing dreary in the
surroundings. The cost of iocineration
will be from $20 te $25, and the time oc
cupied will net hoever tifty minutes.
